Alexander Gabelich’s education, employment experience, knowledge, and passion make him an ideal consultant.

Alex is an avid sports fan and a graduate student receiving a Master of Science in Sports Analytics and Management at American University. He prides himself on having a clear and in-depth knowledge of sports and the teams and players in each league. He watches every game and enjoys using analytics to learn more about the players and the teams. 

Alex’s undergraduate education in Communications, graduate studies in Sports Analytics and Management, and work experience in Marketing have prepared him to excel in any organization. Alex enjoys being a part of collaborative and strategic teams; he’s self-motivated, enjoys working in fast-paced environments, and has a keen ability to multitask. These attributes are his most vital strengths in the companies he has worked for.

 

His coursework includes Data-Driven Decision Making, Evaluation: Quantitative Methods, Client Communications and Professional Consulting, Project Cost-Benefit Analysis, Strategic Management of Sports Organizations, Sports Analytics and Social Engagement, Digital Enterprises in Sports, Intercultural Communication for Professionals, and Innovation Through New Technologies. Some of the projects he has worked on include Analysis of Relative Athletic Scores, Sports Marketing, Communications, and Analysis Plan, The Rooney Rule and How to Fix It, Implementing Go to Goal Sensors in Football, CBA of Notre Dame Football Independence, Preparedness Plan for the Sacramento Kings, and Implementing a New Scheduling System.

For the past eight years, Alex has had the opportunity to work alongside some of the top marketing talents while working for Ootem Advertising, behind the scenes for one of the strongest brands in his work for the YMCA, gaining first-hand knowledge on production and data asset management with the Pac-12 Network, and sports analytics and video analysis now with PFF.  It has, however, been a goal of his to be part of a company that would allow him to work with a cutting-edge analytics team that will allow him to work in a field he is passionate about. He is a proud member of the Professional Football Researchers Association. 

Alex prides himself in being an experienced professional with myriad skills that bring a collaborative work ethic and eagerness to make the most significant impact possible. He is confident that his diverse background has prepared him to handle the needs of any role. Furthermore, he is a diligent worker who is passionate about his work. These attributes will assist him in being an asset to the company. He is ready to step into any position enthusiastically, and his education, extensive marketing, and analytic skills will make him the ideal project lead.
